Appetizer Friday doesn’t always come with a lot of time or energy—but thanks to Trader Joe’s Chicken Potstickers, we’re still eating good. With a juicy, seasoned filling and golden crispy wrapper, these potstickers are the kind of shortcut we don’t feel guilty about.

How We Cook Them

Pan-Fried to Crispy Perfection! This is our go-to method. It’s quick, foolproof, and gives the potstickers that golden crispy bottom we love.

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Place the frozen potstickers flat side down in the pan (don’t overcrowd).
  3. Cook for 2–3 minutes, until the bottoms are golden and crisp.
  4. Add 1/4 cup of water to the pan and immediately cover with a lid.
  5. Steam for about 5–6 minutes, until the water has evaporated.
  6. Remove the lid and let the bottoms crisp for another 1–2 minutes.

Serving Tip

Serve them hot with your favorite dipping sauce. We love a mix of soy sauce, rice vinegar, and a touch of sesame oil. They also go great with a side of chili crisp for extra heat.

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking for an easy win for Appetizer Friday, Trader Joe’s Chicken Potstickers are it. Crispy, savory, and ready in under 10 minutes—no prep, no fuss.
