If you are a busy mom like me, investing in just one company at a time can be risky and expensive. Instead, I focus on funds that have a mix of investments to lower my risk and make it easier to invest in the long run.
 

Index funds are a great option for long-term investing, but all index funds are not the same. Some index funds are mutual funds and others are exchange-traded funds (ETF). Before you pick you an index fund, here is what you need to know about mutual funds and ETFs. Based on your investment style and comfort, this will help you decide which is best for you. 

For me, I’m an ETF kind of woman.
